BRIEF OVERVIEW
Mid Florida Community Services (a Florida not-for-profit corporation) d/b/a You Thrive Florida requests that the Board enter releases for seven public nuisance special assessment liens that were recorded on the same property between 1997 and 2004.
While the liens are no longer enforceable because of their age, they still appear as a cloud on the title to the parcel that You Thrive acquired via tax deed sale. You Thrive also requests that the Board approve partial releases for two Special Master’s Orders that were entered in 2008 and 2010. The two partial releases would release the property, but not the named defendants, from the lien. The attached “Table of Liens Being Released” provides a breakdown of the principle amount plus interest that will be waived should the Board approve the releases.
The property is identified as 16153 La Bella Street, Key No. 195853, Tangerine Estates, Blk K, Lot 4, Hernando County, Florida. (Note that the Special Master’s Order recorded at Bk 1147 Pg 918 contains an incorrect key number.) You Thrive intends to use the property in its House to Home Program.
Should the Board approve the releases, the signed releases will be provided to You Thrive to record at its expense.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board consider You Thrive’s request to release the seven public nuisance special assessment liens, and the partial releases of two Special Master Orders that affect the property described herein. If released, approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Release of Liens and Partial Release of Liens.
