BRIEF OVERVIEW
On February 13, 2024, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 23-T00041/GL Quote #1 to Minuteman Security Technologies, Inc., for an estimated spend of $344,227.19.
The purchase order was originally issued for $344,227.19.
Change Order No. 1 is requested for additional work to be performed in the amount of $67,765.57, bringing this Purchase Order total to $411,992.76.
The Hernando County Department of Public Works has requested an increase to cover additional work to be performed at the Hernando County DPW/Fleet building under Purchase Order No. 24000668 (CIP 105310 DPW Building Security). The scope of work and associated quote for this change order contains sensitive information related to the security of the County’s critical infrastructure. Therefore, in accordance with Florida Statute 119.071, these documents are not included in this item as the disclosure of those items is exempt from the public record.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Budget Amendment was processed to add $70,000.00 to Fund:1011, Transportation Trust Fund, Department: 03101 - Capital Improvement PGM, Account: 5606301, Improvements (Greater than $50,000.00).
Funding, in the amount of $67,765.57 is available in Hernando County Capital Improvement PGM:

It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $67,765.57 to Purchase Order No. 24000668 bringing the total purchase order amount to $411,992.76.
