BRIEF OVERVIEW
On March 26, 2026, the Chief Procurement Officer approved award of Contract No.25-T01187/JG to Security Alarm Corporation for Fire Alarm and Security System Inspection, Testing, Certification and Monitoring Services for a three (3) year contract amount of $46,767.60.
Amendment No. 1 was CPO approved and revised the contract to allow for new installation and repair. Any installation or repair projects above the bidding threshold will be brought to the BOCC for approval. Amendments 2 ($3,627.00) and 3 ($720.00) added additional sites and revised monitoring services to cellular monitoring for a combined three-year value of $4,347.00 and both were CPO approved.
Amendment No.4 ($14,045.40) will add cell monitoring to 17 sites. These additions will increase the total three (3) year contract amount to $65,160.00.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.

recommendation
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Amendment No.4 to Contract No.25-T01187/JG increasing the original contract value to $65,160.00 with an estimated annual spend of $21,720.00.
It is further recommended that the Board authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders as necessary and required up to the annual budgeted amount.
