Budget Resolution Recognizing Funding From State Department of Transportation for FY26 Section 5311; and State Block Grant

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has grant funding available for operating expenses. The attached proposed budget resolution will add Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Section 5311 and State Block Grant funding to the current year budget. This also includes the transfer grant match from the 9th Cent fuel tax revenue fund into the general fund Mass Transit grant department’s local match account budgets.

Funding from these grants will increase the budget $2,169,602 as follows:
Section 5311 G3P64 $1,144,090
Operating Funds: $572,045 are reimbursed at FDOT 50% and Local 50% (Local share of operating in the amount of $572,045 from the Ninth Cent Fund.)
State Block Grant (SBG) G3O94 $1,025,512
Operating Funds: $512,756 are reimbursed at FDOT 50% and Local 50% (Local share of operating in the amount of $512,076 from the Ninth Cent Fund.)

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution recognizing new funding in the FY26 Budget.
