BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County Utilities contacted Hernando County Procurement Department to Piggyback City of Boynton Beach Contract WH22-047 for annual supply of Brass Fitting and Accessories, awarded to Fortiline, Inc., d/b/a Fortiline Waterworks and Core and Main LP with a contract expiration of October 16, 2025, and three (3) twelve (12) month renewal period remaining.
Hernando County Utilities currently has no annual supply of Brass Fitting and Accessories Contract and requests piggyback approval with Fortiline, Inc., d/b/a Fortiline Waterworks and Core and Main LP to provide those Contract services as needed.
Hernando County Procurement Department has assigned No. 23-P0009/GL to this Contract for tracking purposes.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to the Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve piggyback of City of Boynton Beach Contract WH22-047 for annual supply of brass fitting and accessories, awarded to Fortiline, Inc., d/b/a Fortiline Waterworks and Core and Main LP on an as-needed basis, and as future Hernando County Utilities Department budgets allow. It is further recommended that the Board approve of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to renew the contract with the same pricing and approve change orders as they become necessary and required up to the budgeted amounts.
