BRIEF OVERVIEW

On June 12, 2024, the Fire and Emergency Services submitted a request to the Procurement Department to piggyback Hillsborough County Contract No. 24-24596 with EPR Systems USA, Inc., for $47,290.00.  The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) approved this piggyback purchase on August 22, 2024.

 

Purchase Order No. 24000989 was originally issued for $47,290.00 in Fund:  1691 - HC Fire Rescue - Rescue, Department:  02491 - HC Fire Rescue-Rescue, Account:  5305221 - Oper Supp-CMPTR Software.

 

Hernando County Procurement Department has assigned File No. 24-P0172/FH to this Contract for tracking purposes.

 

Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services has requested Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $4,995.00 to purchase an additional module for the Comprehensive Electronic Records Management System (RMS).  This request will increase the purchase order in the amount of $4,995.00.  The purchase order will increase from $47,290.00 to $52,285.00.

Funding, in the amount of $4,995.00, is available in Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services Department:

The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances, and Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

 

recommendation

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $4,995.00 for Purchase Order No. 24000989 with EPR Systems USA, Inc., bringing the total purchase order amount to $52,285.00. 

 

It is further recommended the Board authorize the CPO to renew the contract with the same terms and conditions and approve change orders as they become necessary and required up to annual budgeted amounts.
