Received the attached email and letters from Duke Energy Florida Transmission Vegetation Management Resource Coordinator, Bladmir Cardenas, notifying of upcoming right-of-way vegetation herbicide application management activities at the following locations in Hernando County.
• Beginning at Floral City Substation, located at 7800 East New Jersey Trail, Floral City, and ending Brooksville Substation located at 1625 East Jefferson Street, Brooksville.
• Beginning at Hexam (WREC) REA Tap, located at 10479 Melanie Avenue, Brooksville, then running 0.05 miles north west.
• Beginning at Brookridge Substation, located at 10032 Sunshine Grove Road, Brooksville, and ending at Brooksville West Substation, located at 13424 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
• Beginning at Citrus Combined Cycle Plant, located near north west corner of West Powerline Road and North Access Road, Crystal River, and ending at the Brookridge Substation, located at 10032 Sunshine Grove Road, Brooksville.
• Beginning at Floral City Substation, located at 7800 East New Jersey Trail, Floral City, and ending at Brooksville Substation, located at 1625 East Jefferson Street, Brooksville.
• Beginning at Brooksville Substation, located at 1625 East Jefferson Street, Brooksville, and ending at Brooksville West Substation, located at 13424 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
• Beginning at Brooksville West Substation, located at 13424 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, and ending at Hudson Substation, located at 14240 Hays Road, Spring Hill.

Duke Energy Florida continues their commitment to provide safe and reliable electrical service to the communities, and must invest proper care and maintenance of the transmission of infrastructure. Duke Energy Florida crews will be applying herbicide to vegetation within the attached transmission power line corridors.
