BRIEF OVERVIEW
On March 22, 2022, the Board approved Contract No. 22-T00043/TB with an Annual Spend of $15,400.00 and a Total Contract Amount of $46,200.00, to M & G Lawn Service, LLC for Mowing Services for Hernando Beach for a three (3) year term.
To provide for improved maintenance efficiencies, the Department of Public Works is asking to include additional roads to the Hernando Beach mowing contract:
Cortez Boulevard, Osowaw Boulevard, Tarpon Boulevard, Gulf Drive and Indian Bay Road. These roads are no longer under any active mowing service contract.
Additional roads to be included in this contract are Pine Island Drive and Bayou Drive which are currently maintained by the Department’s In-house mowing crews. The Department of Public Works is in the process of streamlining the in-house mowing areas to provide better services to the public.
As requested by the Department of Public Works, the Procurement Department has prepared Amendment No. One (1) asking for addition of the following roads to the mowing services contract:

Amendment No. One (1) would increase the total contract amount from $46,200 to $153,000 with an annual spend increase from $15,400 to $51,000.
Except for items noted in the requested amendment, all other terms and conditions shall remain the same.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds of $153,000.00 are available in the FY 2025 budget from Fund: 1017 - LOGT 1-6, Dept: 03232 - Road Maintenance, Account No.: 5303413 - Contract Services-Mowing

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chair’s signature on the attached Amendment No. One (1) to Contract No. 22-T00043/TB for Mowing Services - Hernando Beach with M & G Lawn Service LLC, for a total contract amount of $153,000 and approve the increase of the annual spend amount from $15,400 to $51,000.
It is further recommended the Board authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders as they become necessary and required up to the allowable budget amount.
