BRIEF OVERVIEW
Final Close-Out of Contract with Civil Site Constructors, Inc., for Technology Drive and Telcom Drive Extension Construction Project awarded by the Board on December 15, 2020, Doc Id. No. 17629 C, to Civil Site Constructors, Inc., in the amount of $1,764,246.65.
Change Order One (1) was for no-cost time extension due to the project being placed on hold for gopher tortoise removal. The new date for substantial completion is August 17, 2021, and the Final completion date is September 16, 2021.
Change Order Two (2) was for no-cost time extension due to excessive rain including a tropical storm. Contractor requested additional 26 days. New Final Completion date is October 12,2021.
Change Order Three (3) was for no-cost time extension due to excessive rain days in the month of August. Contractor requested additional 18 days. New Final Completion date is November 1, 2021.
Change Order four (4) was for no-cost time extension due to permit issues and rain delays. New Final Completion date is December 17, 2021.
Change Order five (5) was to increase the contract $77.404.20 to repair cul-de-sac, move a fence per new Drainage Retention Area (DRA) not included in original scope of work. Time extension of 70 days needed to complete. New Final Completion date is February 25, 2022, increasing the contract amount by $77,404.20 from $1,764,246.65 to $1,841,650.85.
The Final Contract amount is $1,841,650.85 (PO No. 21000552).
The work has been completed and Civil Site Constructors, Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Twelve (12) in the amount of $157,132.96. All releases properly include Hernando County. Civil Site Constructors, Inc., has signed a release of lien. No notices of lien or claims of lien have been filed on the project.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $157,132.96 is available in Account No. 4311-07411-5626555 Airport Infrastructure in the amount of $68,474.10 and Retainage Account No. 4311-07411-2050176 in the amount of $88,658.85.

The Board has the authority to take the recommended action on this item pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve final pay Request No. Twelve (12) in the amount of $157,132.96 to Civil Site Constructors, Inc., for Technology Drive and Telcom Drive Extension Construction Project under Contract No. 20-CG0116/DK.
The final Contract amount is $1,841,650.85, an increase of $77,404.20 from BOCC award.
