BRIEF OVERVIEW
On July 12, 2023, the Fleet Department requested the Term Sole Source for Outside repairs for E-ONE, Spartan, and Ferrara Fire Apparatus and Road Rescue and Wheeled Coach Ambulance. Therefore, a sole source request for Outside Repairs for E-ONE, Spartan, and Ferrara Fire Apparatus and Road Rescue and Wheeled Coach Ambulance is being requested to process repairs on an as needed basis.
On September 20, 2023, a Sole/Single Source Notice of Intent to award for Term Sole Source Contract No. 23-TSS00402/IR to REV TEC, Inc., d/b/a Hallmark TRC was posted per Procurement Policies and Procedures. The Procurement Department has received no communications regarding the Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The last day for receipt of information was October 9, 2023.
In the State of Florida, the vendor REV RTC, Inc., d/b/a Hallmark RTC is the only factory authorized vendor in our geographical area for the servicing of E-ONE, Spartan, and Ferrara Fire Apparatus and Road Rescue and Wheeled Coach Ambulance equipment and this fact is verified by a formal letter from REV RTC, Inc.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $100,000 is available in Fleet Vehicle Maintenance, Account No. 5071-08021-5303476.

In accordance with Part II, Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances as well as Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.
recommendation
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on attached Term Sole Source Contract No. 23-TSS00402/IR to REV RTC for Outside Repair of E-ONE, Spartan, and Ferrara Fire Apparatus and Road Rescue and Wheeled Coach Ambulance, with an estimated annual spend of $100,000.00, for an initial thirty-six (36) month term contract with two (2) twelve (12) month unilateral renewal options available at the discretion of the County.
It is further recommended that the Board authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders for 23-TSS00402/IR as they become necessary and allowable up to approved budgeted amounts and to approve renewal of the contract when there is no change to terms, conditions and/or pricing.
