BRIEF OVERVIEW
On June 25, 2024, the Board approved contracts for Coastal Engineering Associates, Inc., HDR Engineering, Inc., Ayres Associates Inc., Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLS and Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc., for Continuing Professional Engineering Services.
At that time, the 3rd ranking firm, Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., was not included in the request for Board approval and was scheduled to be brought to the Board for approval and signature at a later date.

Task Orders under this contract will be assigned and negotiated on a rotational basis each task order will not exceed a total cost of $500,000.00.
A Notice of Intent to Award the contract to Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. dated December 21, 2023, was posted to the OpenGov website and posted to the Hernando County Administration electronic public bulletin board. No responses were received.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds will be allocated and approved per Task Order request. There are currently no projects or associated accounts identified

recommendation
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the selection of Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., reaffirm the award to those firms previously approved on June 25, 2024, and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the contract with Stantec for continuing Professional Engineering Services (23-RFQ00422/AP).
It is further recommended that the Board authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders as they become necessary and required and up to budgeted amounts.
