body
BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Airport wishes to engage in a services contract with uAvionix Corporation for their FlightLine Airborne Position Reference Tool (APRT) system. This system is a FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) approved situational awareness system that provides real-time ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) aircraft tracking to Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT). It bridges the gap for contract towers lacking traditional radar, providing a web interface to boost safety and efficiency.
On September 9, 2026, a Sole/Single Source Notice of Intent to award for Term Sole Source Contract No. 26-TSS01440 to uAvionix was posted per Procurement Policies
and Procedures. The last day for receipt of information was October 1, 2026. As of this date, the Procurement Department has received no communication regarding the Notice of Intent to Sole Source.
uAvionix Corporation is the only FAA authorized provider of the Airborne Position Reference Tool system for Federal and Non-Federal Contract Towers.
