Ratification of Federal Aviation Administration Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement for Airport Infrastructure Design Project at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport and Associated Budget Resolution

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has extended Grant Offer No. 3-12-0008-031-2026 in the amount of $295,086 for the Airport Infrastructure Project (Design) at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport which entails the design for reconstructing approximately 229,500 square feet of the general aviation ramp, as well as approximately 127,400 square feet of existing hangar taxilane pavement.
The grant pre-application was approved by the Board on November 18, 2025, Doc. ID 16605, which authorized the County Administrator’s signature on any future grant documents relating to this project. The grant application was ratified by the BOCC on February 24, 2026, Doc ID 17058. The grant award agreement has been signed by the County Administrator and is presented here for ratification.
The FDOT matching grant award is expected to be offered in July 2026.

recommendation
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board ratify the County Administrators’ signature on the attached FAA grant agreement and that the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator’s signature on any future related documents. It is further recommended the Board approve the related budget resolution and authorize the Chairman’s signature on it.
