BRIEF OVERVIEW

The applicant has requested a variance to reduce side yard setbacks from 10’ to 6.0’.

 

HEARING DETAIL

During the February 11, 2025, BOCC meeting, the board approved the variance with the side yard setback reduction from 10’ to 6.  However, this application was continued to a date certain of March 11, 2025, for the BOCC to consider the Applicant’s amended variance request to reduce the front yard setback from 25’ to 15.4.

1.                     The applicant has requested a variance to reduce the side setbacks from 10’ to 6.0’ and front setbacks from 25’ to 15.4’ for the main dwelling. It will remain within the property lines.

 

2.                     It is recommended that the Board review the request, take public comment, and make a finding that the request is consistent with the review criteria Appendix A, Article V, Section 3.A(1) and Chapters 125 and 163, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board review the variance, find the request is consistent with the review criteria of Appendix A - Zoning, Article IV. - Zoning District Regulations, Section 2 B. to reduce the side setbacks from 10’ to 6.0’ and front setbacks from 25’ to 15.4’ and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached associated resolution.
