BRIEF OVERVIEW
Located north of County Line Road and South of Coronado Drive, this section of Linden Drive serves Spring Hill. It is a two-lane paved roadway with grassed shoulders. Due to unauthorized vehicle parking within the road right of way, adjacent to the drainage retention area Southwest of Jessica Drive, damage to the edge of the roadway, grassed shoulders, and irrigation infrastructure is occurring.
Staff is recommending that the Board therefore prohibit parking along the right of way in this area and that “No Parking on Right of Way,” “Tow Away Zone,” and “$101 Fine” signs be placed on Linden Drive (Southwest of the Traffic Circle at Jessica Drive adjacent to the Drainage Retention Area). Preventing parking within the road right of way will curtail future damage to the roadway shoulders, roadway edge, and irrigation infrastructure.

Funding for materials and installation of signs is estimated at $450.00 and available in the following accounts:

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board adopt and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached resolution prohibiting parking within the right of way on Linden Drive (Southwest of the Traffic Circle at Jessica Drive adjacent to the Drainage Retention Area), authorizing the placement of “No Parking on Right of Way,” “Tow Away Zone,” and “$101 Fine” signs, and providing for enforcement and penalties.
