BRIEF OVERVIEW

Revision 4 of the FY2025-FY2026 UPWP is an amendment to recognize additional PL funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) into FY2026 in the amount of $20,172.  Revision 4 will require PL Contract #G2V07 be amended to increase it by $20,172 from $2,062,855 to $2,083,027 and requires the adoption of the associated Resolution 2025-05.  The $20,172 is proposed to be added to consultant services in Task 5 and utilized for the Traffic Counts and Level of Service Analysis for Citrus County.

 

On October 23, 2025, the MPO’s Technical Advisory Committee, Citizens Advisory Committee, and Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee separately reviewed and unanimously recommended approval of Revision 4.  

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

The additional funding from the PL G2V07 amendment will be utilized in the Hernando County Fiscal Year’s 2026 budget in Fund 1031 for the MPO.

 

LEGAL NOTE

Pursuant to Chapter 339 and 427, Florida Statutes, the MPO Board has the authority to take the recommended action.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the MPO Board approve Revision 4 to the UPWP FY2025-FY2026 which adds $20,172 in available funding as provided by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), approve the associated Resolution 25-5, and authorize the Chair’s signature thereupon. Furthermore, it is recommended the MPO Board authorize the Chair’s signature upon the amendment to the PL Funding Contract #G2V07 once it is received from FDOT and reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office as to form and legal sufficiency.
