body

BRIEF OVERVIEW

The Springside Community Development District (CDD) was created via Hernando County Ordinance 2024-14 on September 10, 2024.

On March 27, 2026, the Board of Supervisors of the Springside CDD determined it is in the best interest of the property owners within the district to dissolve the CDD pursuant to Section 190.046(10), Florida Statutes.

On April 15, 2026, Springside CDD submitted a request for dissolution, along with a sworn affidavit that it has not constructed any capital improvements, has no operating and maintenance responsibilities, has not levied any ad-valorem special assessments or issued any non-ad valorem bonds, and has no outstanding financial or contractual obligations.  These documents have been incorporated into the attached proposed ordinance presented here for adoption.
