BRIEF OVERVIEW
This pre-application for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funding is for one component of a larger roadway project encompassing both rail and aviation served sites. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Grant will be utilized exclusively for the aviation portion of the project, supplementing an awarded Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant. The project encompasses a 970 ft extension of Rescue Way to the northeast, the extension of water and sewer service along with the construction of a lift station, stormwater swales and culverts to provide necessary infrastructure for future aeronautical development on the east side of Runway 3-21.
The County Administrator’s signature was previously obtained to meet specific project deadlines.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This pre-application will not have a financial impact to the Airport.
