BRIEF OVERVIEW
Triangle Park is located at the intersection of Shoal Line Boulevard and Osowaw Boulevard. Although the speed limits on Shoal Line and Osowaw Boulevard are 35 MPH around Triangle Park, the yield condition allows motorists to maintain their speed as they travel past the park. The stop condition will ensure the safety of the patrons at the park and prevent vehicles exiting Shoal Line Boulevard onto Osowaw Boulevard from merging into oncoming traffic.
Staff is recommending the existing yield sign be modified to a stop sign to enhance traffic safety at the intersection of Shoal Line Boulevard and Osowaw Boulevard.

Funding for materials and installation of a Stop sign is available in the following accounts:

• 1017-03233-530* (Operating Expenses) $300.00

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached resolution providing for the modification of the yield condition to a full stop condition and providing for placement of a stop sign at the intersection of Shoal Line Boulevard and Osowaw Boulevard.
