Water and Sewer Service Agreement Between William Ryan Homes Florida, Inc., and Hernando County Water and Sewer District for Pine Cone Development Project

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Pine Cone project is a residential community development consisting of 213 single-family residential units which will be located at the west end of Pine Cone Street off Weeping Willow Road. The Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) has the capability to provide water and sewer service for this project. HCUD and the project Developer, William Ryan Homes Florida, Inc., has developed a water and sewer service agreement which outlines the responsibilities of HCUD and the Developer for the Pine Cone Development Project.
As part of the agreement, the developer will replace an existing HCUD wastewater lift station and construct a new force main to connect to the 16” force main on Weeping Willow Road.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The County will reimburse the developer for the work not to exceed $353,750.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached Pine Cone Water and Sewer Service Agreement.
