License Agreement With Tampa Bay History Center for Continued Operations of Chinsegut Hill Manor House and Retreat

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County has partnered with the City of Brooksville and the Tampa Bay History Center for preservation and operation of Chinsegut Hill Manor House and surrounding conference center, cabins, and educational facilities. A License Agreement with the City of Brooksville was approved by this Board on June 27, 2023 (Legistar 12379). As a prior agreement has expired, approval of an updated License Agreement with the Tampa Bay History Center is requested in order to maintain continued partnership and operations. The term would end December 31, 2026, with the Licensee having the option to renew once for a period of two years.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The license fee is $150/year for each year of the agreement.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached License Agreement with the Tampa Bay History Center.
