BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has extended a grant offer in the amount of $750,000.00 for the design of Runway 3-21 Rehabilitation and Runway Shift at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport. FDOT will provide 80% of the funding for this project and Hernando County is responsible for 20% of the project cost.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Airport’s revenue will increase by $750,000.00 in Account No. 4311-34301-3896001 - St Grant-FDOT 55.004 OP and expensed out of Account No. 4311-34301-5626586 - CIP-Dsn-Rehab 3-21/Txiw B.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes. In accordance with Part II, Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the FDOT Public Transportation Grant Agreement FPN 448724-1-94-01 and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the related documents.
