BRIEF OVERVIEW
Community Markets & Events applied for funding through the TDC Special Event Grant Funding Program. The application was reviewed and approved by the TDC, and the Board of County Commissioners awarded funding in the amount of $3,500.00 on April 14, 2026.
On April 16, Cheryl Taylor of Community Markets & Events notified the County that it wished to rescind its grant application and decline the grant award. As a result, the organization will not receive or expend the awarded funds, and any related grant obligations will be considered withdrawn.
