BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County BOCC approved FY 23 Community Planning and Technical Assistance Grant in the amount of $102,000 on January 24, 2023. All grant funds must be expended by June 30,2023. In order to complete the Broadband Feasibility Study in the timeframe allowable, Information Technology is requesting approval of a Single Source Professional Services Agreement with Magellan Advisors, LLC.
Per the Purchasing and Contracts Policies and Procedures No. 070A, Paragraph IV, Sub-Paragraph 4 and FS 287.057(3)(c), Single Source Notice of Intent was posted on February 16, 2023, and the last day for receipt of information was on March 3, 2023. No information was received regarding this posting.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The FY 2023 grant amount of $102,000 is available in Expenditure Account No. 0011-31002-5303101.

The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.
recommendation
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Single Source Professional Services Agreement with Magellan Advisors, LLC to conduct a Broadband Feasibility Study. It is further recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to approve change orders as they become necessary and required with proper documentation and available department budget.
