Notification From Duke Energy Florida, LLC, Advising of Upcoming Right-of-Way Vegetation Management Activities

BRIEF OVERVIEW

Received the attached letter from Duke Energy Resource Coordinator of Transmission Vegetation Management advising of upcoming vegetation management activities within the right-of-way of a power line corridor located in Hernando County.  Crews will be pruning and, in some cases, removing trees within the BBW-1-115kV transmission power line corridor.  Affected landowners will be notified individually as the project proceeds and prior to work commencing on their property.

 

The BBW-1-115kV Line is a 10.44-mile right-of-way that begins at the Brookridge Substation, located at 10032 Sunshine Grove Road, Brooksville, then runs to the Hexam (WREC) REA Tap, located at 10479 Melanie Ave, Brooksville, FL. Next, runs through the Weeki Wachee Tap, located at 11010 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL, and ends at the Brooksville West Substation, located at 13424 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL.

 

This notice is required by Section 163.3209, Florida Statutes.
