Professional Services Agreement With Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council to Conduct Vulnerability Assessment Study Including City of Brooksville for Emergency Management

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has awarded Hernando County $284,400 to conduct a vulnerability assessment of Hernando County including the City of Brooksville (Grant Agreement No. 23PLN49 is on this agenda as a separate item - Legistar 12868). Hernando County Emergency Management is requesting that the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC) perform the Hernando County Vulnerability Assessment including Brooksville in connection with the Resilient Florida Program. TBRPC will conduct the study and be the project manager for the study while working with FDEP.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding is available in Account No. 0011-33801-5303101 Professional Services. This is grant funding from FDEP and is 100% reimbursable.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached Professional Services Agreement.
