BRIEF OVERVIEW
The purpose of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is to assist the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization Board in a review and advisory capacity relating to transportation planning and programming for Citrus and Hernando counties. The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) consists of eleven (11) citizen positions appointed by the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization Board. Seven (7) of the eleven (11) positions are currently filled. CAC members serve a two-year term. Terri Moore has submitted an application to fill the vacant City of Crystal River position. The application is attached for review by the Board.

Pursuant to Chapter 339.175, Florida Statutes, the MPO Board has the authority to take the recommended action.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Hernando/Citrus MPO Board appoint Terri Moore to serve on the Citizens Advisory Committee in the City of Crystal River position for a period of two (2) years (October 3, 2024, through October 2, 2026).
