Revocable License Agreement With Prime-88, Inc., to Temporarily Utilize Portion of Parking Lot at Utilities Department for Overflow Parking

BRIEF OVERVIEW

The attached License Agreement between Hernando County and Prime-88, Inc. is for the use of a portion of the Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) parking lot at 15365 Cortez Blvd. as overflow parking by Prime-88, Inc. and its customers.  The parking area will only be used when HCUD is closed and not during normal business hours.  Prime-88 has agreed to provide two signs identifying the parking area and allowable times, which will be installed by the Utilities Department.  All terms, including the rate, remain the same as in the existing agreement.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Prime-88 Inc. agrees to pay Hernando County $1,000.00 annually, for the use of the Hernando County Utilities Department parking area.

 

The fee should be recorded as revenue for the Utilities Department

Fund:  4111 - Hernando County Utilities, Account:  3699000 - Misc. Revenue

 

LEGAL NOTE

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached revocable license agreement between Hernando County and Prime-88, Inc., for the use of a portion of the Hernando County Utilities Department parking lot.
