Received a request from Vivian Rivera, organizer of the Miss Hispanic Queen of Hernando County, requesting a resolution proclaiming September 15, 2025, through October 15, 2025, as Hispanic Heritage Month in Hernando County. The attached resolution recognizes the presence, cultural diversity, and contributions made by Hispanics in Hernando County, whose strong sense of community, work ethic, faith and love of family help to unite us all and strengthen our community.
