BRIEF OVERVIEW
Every year prior to the budget process beginning, staff receives direction from the Board regarding items that may impact the budget for the next fiscal year. Staff also reviews the budget calendar with the Board, which is used to guide the budget process and ensure compliance with the Truth in Millage (TRIM) Act.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board provide direction on the annual budget development process, approve the attached budget calendar for fiscal year 2027, and allow the Office of Management & Budget to adjust the budget calendar as necessary.
