BRIEF OVERVIEW
The attached budget resolution is to recognize the FY26 State Aid to Libraries Grant funding from the State of Florida in the amount of $39,946 Operating funding and $428,016 for Equalization funding received as part of the State Aid to the Libraries Grant Program Project No. 26-ST-19 for the operation and maintenance of Countywide library services.

The funds received will increase the General Fund by $467,962 for the Library Services Department.
Revenues:
General Fund - B001, Department: Library Services - 111, Account: STATE GRANT-CULTURE/RECREATION - 334700 for $467,962.
Expenses:
General Fund - B001, Department: Library Services - 111, Account: BUDGET RESERVE OTHER - 599902 for $467,962.
These funds are set aside in FY26 and budgeted for FY27.

It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution recognizing the FY26 State Aid to Libraries Grant funding.
