BRIEF OVERVIEW

The Hernando Solid Waste Water Line Relocation project was awarded by the Board on May 24, 2022, Doc. Id. No. 197386, to Goodwin Bros. Construction, Inc., in the amount of $87,384.24.  This project is Quote No. Fifty-three (53) under Contract No. 19-R00007 Construction Services under $200K. 

 

Change Order No. One (1) was an increase due to increased material costs beyond the contractors control, increasing the Contract amount by $1,476.48 from $87,384.24, to $88,860.72.

 

Change Order No. Two (2) was an increase due to increased material costs beyond the contractors control, increasing the Contract amount by $1,098.72 from $88,860.72, to $89,959.44.

 

The Final Contract amount is $89,959.44 (PO No. 22000875).

 

The work has been completed and Goodwin Bros. Construction, Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Two (2) in the amount of $10,672.97.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding in the amount of $10,672.00 is available in Retainage Account 4471-20500067.

Legal Authority under F.S. Chapter 125 (All releases properly include Hernando County).

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve final pay request No. Two (2) in the amount of $10,672.97 to Goodwin Bros. Construction, Inc., to close out Quote 74, Hernando Solid Waste Water Line Relocation under Contract No. 19-R00007 Construction Services under $200K.

 

The final Contract amount for this unit is $89,959.44, a Contract amount increase of $2,575.20 over BOCC award.
