State Funded Grant Supplemental Agreement With State Department of Transportation for Construction Activities Associated With Fort Dade Avenue Resurfacing Project

body

BRIEF OVERVIEW

A State Funded Grant Agreement (SFGA) between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Hernando County was approved on March 22, 2022, (Contract No. G2879).  The funding for this project was applied for through the Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) in 2020 to resurface the roadway thereby increasing its life and bringing the section of roadway up to the Pavement Condition Rating in line with the pavement management program.

The information provided in the agenda item to the Board on March 22, 2023, was accurate, however, there was a clerical error in the attached Grant Award resulting in the award document submitted to FDOT being incorrect.  During the award process, this came to light and FDOT has prepared a supplemental agreement to amend the award amount.

This supplemental agreement increases the state funded participation in the amount of $36,000.  The budget resolution processed with the original grant award was correct and no budget changes are necessary to Hernando County’s current budget or financial tracking are required.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

There is no financial impact associated with this supplemental agreement.

LEGAL NOTE

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Section 125.01, Florida Statutes.
