Budget Resolution Recognizing FY 2023 State Aid to Libraries Grant Funding

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The attached budget resolution is to recognize the FY23 State Aid to Libraries Grant funding from the State of Florida in the amount of $52,009 Operating funding and $535,523 for Equalization funding received as part of the State Aid to the Libraries Grant Program for the operation and maintenance of Countywide library services.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The funds received will increase the General Fund by $587,532 in Grant # 37032 / GMS # 509 for the Library Services Department.

The Board has the authority to act upon this matter pursuant to Florida Statutes, Sec. 125.01(1) and Sec. 129.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution recognizing the FY23 State Aid to Libraries Grant funding.
