BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County Parks and Recreation received quote no. 208778 from Musco Lighting in the amount of $161,710.00 for new tennis court lighting at Delta Woods Park and updating to LED technology. Work includes demolition of the existing fixtures, installation of new lights to existing poles, connection to existing controls, and surge protection.
On January 29,2019, the Board authorized Use Approval of Sourcewell Contracts with any project over $35,000 to be brought to the Board for approval, Doc Id No. 15271.
Sourcewell Contract No. 071619 for Sports Lighting with related Supplies and Services was awarded to Musco Lighting with an expiration date of August 27, 2023. Hernando County Procurement Department issued Contract No. 23-P00012A for tracking purposes.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to the Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding to award the Contract in the amount of $161,710.00 is available in Expense Account 0011-04441-5606301 Parks & Recreation, Improv (Grtr than 10,000).

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the purchase of new tennis court lighting for Delta Woods Park from Musco Lighting in the amount of $161,710.00 utilizing Sourcewell Contract No. 071619 and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders as they become necessary and required.
