BRIEF OVERVIEW

In accordance with Board of County Commissioner’s Policy No. 16-1, relative to Municipal Service Benefit Units (MSBU), the property listed below was inadvertently overcharged for their Hernando County Solid Waste & Recycling assessment.  Staff is requesting reimbursement of the amount assessed during 2024 with the refund as follows:

Current Assessment:                     $  98.04

Difference:                     $  98.04

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board approve reimbursing the property located on Winding Creek Drive for the MSBU overpayment and authorize the Hernando County Solid Waste & Recycling Division to process the reimbursement.
