BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Spring Hill Water Reclamation Facility Demolition Project was awarded by the Board on July 11, 2023, Doc Id. No. 12413, to PAW Materials, Inc., in the amount of $646,541.00.
Change Order One (1) was for a decrease of $11,115.00 due to the removal of work on bid not needed. There was no need for removal of gopher tortoises as none were found on site, decreasing the Contract by $11,115.00 from $646,541.00 to $635,426.00.
The Final Contract amount is $635,426.00 (PO No. 23001002).
The work has been completed and PAW Materials, Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Four (4) in the amount of $32,299.74.
All releases properly include Hernando County. PAW Materials, Inc., has signed a release of lien. No additional notices of lien or claims of lien have been filed on the project.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $32,299.74 is available in the following accounts: Account No. 4111-07121-5304601 (HCUD Wastewater Operation Repairs & Maint-Bldg & Grd) in the amount of $556.25 and Retainage Account No. 4111-2050217 (Retainage - PAW Materials, Inc.) in the amount of $31,743.49.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve final pay Request No. Four (4) in the amount of $32,299.74 to PAW Materials, Inc., to close out the Spring Hill Water Reclamation Facility Demolition Project under Contract No. 23-D00051/GL.
The final Contract amount is $635,426.00, a decrease of $11,115.00 from BOCC award.
