Recognition of Donations From Pet Supplies Plus to Hernando County Animal Services for Supplies and Assistance With Adoption of Animals

BRIEF OVERVIEW
In February of 2021, Hernando County Animal Services (HCAS) entered into a partnership with Pet Supplies Plus. HCAS agreed to supply adoptable kittens and cats that are fully vetted, vaccinated and microchipped to Pet Supplies Plus. The housing, care, and completion of the adoption process was to be completed by Pet Supplies Plus. The felines were housed and displayed inside the business at 13120 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida. Pet Supplies Plus has been a tremendous partner with Hernando County Animal Services; their commitment, dedication and willingness to be a part of the solution to stray animals is commendable.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached certificate recognizing Pet Supplies Plus for donations of supplies and assistance with adoption of animals.
