First Addendum to Lease Agreement With Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization for Office Space Located at Building Division Located at 789 Providence Boulevard

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The current one-year lease of office space consisting of 1,090 square feet for the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will expire on June 30, 2025. The proposed First Addendum will extend the term by three years to June 30, 2028, and grant Hernando County the right to relocate the MPO as needed with 60 days’ notice. All other terms and condition remain the same including annual base rent of $12,535.00 which will be paid in twelve (12) equal monthly installments on the first of each month. The rental rate is based on a charge of $11.50 per square foot of space.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Revenue: 12 equal payments of $1,044.58 will go to:
Fund: 4611 - Hernando County Development Services, Revenue Account: 3620020 -lease rent.

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve the First Addendum to Lease Agreement with Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization and authorize the Chair’s signature thereon.
