First Amended Interlocal Agreement With Pasco County for EMS Billing and Collection Services for Hernando County Fire Rescue

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County Fire Rescue has an agreement in place with Pasco County to perform ambulance billing and collection services on our behalf, which went into effect April 28, 2017. An amendment to the agreement is needed to incorporate provisions to establish compensation for wait time at 6% of net revenue and to clarify the procedures and responsibilities regarding the processing of patient refunds.

Wait Time revenue for FY26 was $12,608; the estimated 6% net revenue charge for FY27 would increase the billing cost by $757 annually.
