BRIEF OVERVIEW
Mary and Vito Pagillo have submitted a petition to vacate the two (2) internal 7.5’ utility and drainage easements within Lots 8 and 9, Block 603, Royal Highlands Unit 7 as recorded in Plat Book 12, Pages 8 through 110, inclusive of the Public Records of Hernando County, Florida. The vacation is sought in order to construct a future home within the easement areas. All affected utilities and County departments have indicated no objection to the request.

There is no financial impact associated with the recommended action.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board has the authority to approve the petition to vacate easements pursuant to F.S. 177.101 and County Policy No. 19-07.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board take public comment on the request, approve the vacation of the easements, and approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the related resolution, after which it will be recorded in the Public Records of Hernando County, Florida.
