John C. Emerson, Hernando County Property Appraiser, announcing the return of Excess Fees for fiscal year ended September 30, 2022, will return $428,870.68 for unspent funds.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Excess funds returned to the County in the amount of $428,870.68 of which $282,908.45 recognized as revenue in General fund via credit on First Quarter Billing along with $35,508.04 credit to various other funding sources. $78,734.89 to the General fund and 31,719.30 reverted to other Funds.
