BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (Grantee) will use grant funds to improve boat access to the Withlacoochee River by constructing a new single lane concrete boat ramp and a new floating boarding dock. This is a cost reimbursement agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The FY 2023 grant amount is $200,000. A budget resolution is attached for Revenue Account No. 1051-37202-3347201; Expenditure Account No. 1051-37202-5606378.

The Board is authorized to act upon this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on attached FWC Agreement No. 22021 with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for the Lake Townsen Park Boat Ramp Project and attached associated budget resolution.
