BRIEF OVERVIEW
Due to lengthy lead times, meters will need to be ordered now for delivery mid-year 2024. This budget amendment is needed to cover the additional expense.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $500,000.00 are available from the HCUD Budget Reserves Account No. 4111-07099-5909999, to be transferred to the HCUD Water Operations Uncap Improv Meters Account No. 4111-07111-5305280.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve the attached budget amendment to transfer funds to cover the purchase of the additional meters.
