BRIEF OVERVIEW

The Florida Division of Emergency Management has awarded Hernando County the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) in the amount of $74,184.71 (Agreement No. G0583).  This Federal funding is intended to enhance the Emergency Management Program by performing eligible activities identified in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency, Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Emergency Management Performance Grants Program and programs that are consistent with Title 44, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 13, State Rule Chapter 9G-6, Florida Administrative Code and Chapter 252, Florida Statutes.

 

Federal funds provided under this agreement shall be matched dollar-for-dollar from non-Federal funds.  This required match is met by the funds allotted for the Emergency Management and Preparedness Assistance (EMPA) Grant.
