BRIEF OVERVIEW
Received a letter from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) on July 1, 2026, regarding the Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) Grant Award. The Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) Evaluation Committee met on June 25, 2026, to score and rank applications for fiscal year 2026-2027 funding. Based on the score the application (Application No. 26-038 and Agreement No. 26054) received and the funding that the Program has available to obligate, Hernando County’s Hunters Lake Channel Restoration Project Phase 1 has been awarded up to $200,154 in funding.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The budget will be adopted when the grant award is received.
