BRIEF OVERVIEW
This lease agreement allows the non-profit Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay to host summer educational classes and offer after-school classes when the school year begins this fall. When this item was first presented to the Board on July 14, 2026, the Board voted to waive the rental fees and wanted the proposed lease to allow for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tampa Bay to take over general maintenance and repairs of the facility, with exceptions for catastrophic or potential major events. The lease will be in effect for five (5) years with renewals possible for two (2) additional five (5) year terms.

It is recommended that the Board authorize the Chairman’s signature on the lease agreement with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay.
