BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Ernie Wever Baseball and Soccer Improvement plan was developed by a partnership of Kiwanis Club of Brooksville, Coastal Engineering Associates Inc., and Hernando Youth League (HYL). The subject improvement plan details future improvement for additional parking, a new baseball quad-plex, soccer field infrastructure, lighting, walking trails, and a disc golf course.
The Board of County Commissioners adopted the Parks Master Plan on January 13, 2026 (item no. 17672). It is the Parks and Recreation Department’s intent to add the Ernie Wever Baseball and Soccer Improvement plan as an addendum to the approved Parks Master Plan.
