Notification of Property Placed on List of Lands Available for Taxes and Available for Purchase by County

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Attached is a letter identifying property which has been placed on the List of Lands Available for Taxes as of July 15, 2026, and is available for purchase by the County. Florida Statutes Section 197.502 (7) and Florida Administrative Code, Rule 12D-13.064, provides that if there are no bidders at the public sale, the Clerk shall enter the lands on the “List of Lands Available for Taxes” and shall notify the County Commission that the land is available.
The information was forwarded to the Department Directors and Managers to determine any interest in the lands available for taxes. It was noted that no response would be indicative of no interest, and no responses were received.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached notification indicating the County does not elect to purchase the referenced property placed on the List of Lands Available for Taxes.
