BRIEF OVERVIEW
Attached is a memorandum from Senior Planner Omar De Pablo regarding Conditional Use Permits taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) on June 13, 2022. On that date, the P&Z voted on the following:
• Voted to approve a conditional use permit for a second residence, as petitioned by Arielle Fox (File No. CU-22-03).
• Voted to approve a conditional use permit for a temporary security residence, as petitioned by David S. Christman (File No. CU-22-04).
• Voted to approve a conditional use permit for a portable roadside stand, namely a produce stand, as petitioned by Windy Southall (File No. CU-22-05).
• Voted 4-1 to approve a conditional use permit for a temporary security residence, as petitioned by Michael A. Poindexter (File No. CU-22-06).
According to Appendix A, Zoning, Article V. Section 4(H) of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances, the Board, by a majority vote, may decide to review any conditional use decision rendered by the P&Z. If at least a majority of the governing body do not vote to review the P&Z decision within thirty (3) days, the P&Z decision shall be deemed final and subject only to review by the circuit court.
